A five-day research camp was held at Sečovlje Salina Nature Park for biology and natural science students. Twelve students (11 from Slovenia, 1 from Croatia) took part in fieldwork, workshops, and expert lectures focused on the conservation of the endangered European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis). Activities included turtle monitoring, habitat mapping, water analysis, and discussions on invasive species and conservation strategies. The camp fostered knowledge-sharing, hands-on research, and a strong commitment to biodiversity protection.
