On Tuesday, 22 September, as part of the LIFE URCA PROEMYS project, the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park welcomed Hungarian and Slovak colleagues from the #EMYS project – Cross-border initiatives on promoting the conservation of Emys orbicularis.
The visit to the Sečovlje Salt Pans was an excellent opportunity to compare approaches and share experience firsthand. Both teams presented their projects, methods, results to date and the challenges they face in conserving the species.
